Experience
Bob has been a member of the firm since he joined it in 1986.Prior
to joining Gilbert & Sackman in 1986, Bob was a partner in the
New York law firm of Vladeck, Waldman, Elias & Engelhard, P.C.,
which he had joined as a young associate in 1974. At both Gilbert
& Sackman and the Vladeck firm, Bob represented labor unions,
Taft-Hartley trust funds and employees in various types of employment
cases mostly relating to wage and hour laws.
Bob is an adjunct instructor at the Labor Center, Los Angeles Trade
and Technical College, where he teaches college courses on Grievance
and Arbitration, Collective Bargaining and Labor Relations Law and
a course he designed himself on California Minimum Labor Standards.
Bob is a frequent speaker and author of articles on labor and minimum
labor standards issues.
