Experience

Susan joined Gilbert & Sackman as an associate in 2008. Prior, Susan worked as a law clerk at the civil rights and employment law firm of Hadsell, Stormer, Keeny, Richardson & Rennick, LLP. She also worked as a legal intern at the Coalition to Abolish Slavery and Trafficking and for the Honorable Judge Harry Pregerson. During law school Susan coordinated student volunteering at the Mira Loma Detention Center as a board member and later as president of the Immigration Law Society. Before attending law school, Susan was an elementary school teacher for the Lynwood Unified School District in Southern California.
