Experience

Joseph L. Paller Jr. has represented labor unions and employee benefit plans since he graduated from UCLA School of Law in 1978. He is a nationally-recognized specialist in private and public sector labor, employment and employee benefits law.

Joe also serves as a Personnel Commissioner of the Los Angeles Unified School District. The Personnel Commission provides civil service protections for approximately 35,000 classified employees in the nation's second largest school district.

For many years, Joe has arbitrated employment disputes for the American Arbitration Association. He also teaches classes in labor, employment and benefits law for the Labor Center at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College.

In 2005, 2006 and 2007, Joe was recognized as a “Southern California Super Lawyer” by Los Angeles Magazine.
