G&S Attorneys Win Misclassification Claim Against Port Trucking Company

On July 18, 2016, Gilbert & Sackman’s attorneys prevailed in a Labor Commissioner claim against a port trucking company that misclassified its employees as independent contractors. The California Labor Commissioner found that a port trucking company, HRT, had misclassified a driver. As a result, the driver is owed almost $90,000 in payments for unlawful paycheck deductions.
